Scenic House, Pasadena, California

TOLO was asked to design a two-story, 4-bedroom single-family residence with a 6-car below grade garage, and a swimming pool on a beautiful property in Pasadena. The building was conceived as a unified prism massing with three lightwells that pierce through to bring in natural light and to organize the interior layout. The building appears as a low solid building from the street, and has a terraced entry sequence that leads to a living room, dining and kitchen with sweeping views of the property’s expansive native landscape.
